Carin Bartosch Edström
Born in 1965, Carin Bartosch Edström was brought up in Rome and Lund and currently lives in Stockholm with her family. She is a woman of many talents: Carin has worked as an orchestra director and is a trained composer of both opera and and chamber music. In addition, she worked as a translator from Italian and German and is fluent in English, French and Russian.
In 2011, she released her first novel, Furioso, a literary crime novel in which the music of Mozart sets the tone. In 2014, Carin wrote her second novel in the series with Police Inspector Ebba Schröder at its center Cassandra. Stockholm medical academia and the prestigious Karolinska Institute provides a neat setting for this sensitive, educated, music-loving female detective. The third novel in the series in expected 2018.
