Jerker Virdborg
Jerker Virdborg (born 1971) lives in Stockholm. His literary debut in 2001 was with the short story collection Land uplift two centimeters per night, followed the year after by the novel Black Crab which was awarded the Literature Prize of the Swedish magazine Vi and was translated to several languages. His subsequent novels The disappearers (2005), The Man from Trinisla (2007) and Cold fever(2009), The city and the flames and Summer, Sister have all received huge critical acclaim, and established Jerker Virdborg as one of Sweden’s most interesting voices.
