German media praise Lagercrantz’ Turing-novel
With “Fall Of Man In Wilmslow” (which appeared in 2009) David Lagercrantz achieved a breakthrough as a novelist. The book was published in Germany in mid-January 2016 and German-speaking media are full of praise.
Here below just one example (from the WDR – Westdeutsche Rundfunk):
“Already with this novel Lagercrantz demonstrates what a brilliant author he is. The atmosphere of the 1950s is sensitively rendered. His characters have depth and personality and his writing is gripping – even when there are occasional pages on mathematics only, you just keep on reading. A most successful combination of a sense of historical situation and fiction in a novel.”
