Here comes the Night published in Sweden!

We are thrilled to announce that the wonderful debut by Charlotte Aquilonius, editor-at-large at Albert Bonniers förlag, is now published by Modernista. “Do you write?” People have asked me that question many times and I have stood perplexed, a little embarrassed, sometimes annoyed. Out of professional pride – no, not everyone working in publishing secretly wants to become a writer – but also because I have been hesitant in what to reply. “I get to indulge in linguistics at work. That is enough for me. ” True. And false. “Write? Don’t we all?” Cleaver. To reply with a (rhetorical) question. “I believe that I am a better reader than I am a writer.” A humble favourite. In any case, one day I thought to myself that I should stop messing about and I picked up something I started a long time ago. And now it is easier to reply to that question and tell it like it is. That my daydreams wrote a novel.
