Crimetime Honorary Award 2024 awarded to Karin Alvtegen

Karin Alvtegen was announced as the winner of this year’s Crimetime Honorary Award with the following motivation:

“With her evocative relationship dramas, she paved the way for psychological suspense literature, not only in Sweden but throughout the world. Since her debut in 1998, she has been one of Scandinavia’s most read and loved authors, and of top of that she has also shaped the style of a whole generation of subsequent Swedish suspense writers. The books have achieved both Swedish and international success and have been translated into more than 35 languages. […] This year’s honorary award is awarded to Karin Alvtegen.”
