Ingrid Carlberg
Ingrid Carlberg (b. 1961) is a journalist and author based in Stockholm. She was awarded the 2012 August Prize for her biography of the Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg, who disappeared in Budapest in 1945 after organizing a rescue operation for the last remnants of Europe’s Jewish population. Carlberg was awarded the investigative journalism award The Golden Spade for her 2008 reportage book The Pill, and was appointed Honorary Doctor of Medicine at Uppsala University in 2009.
