Absinthe, The story of a Blue Tit

One early summer day he suddenly appears, the blue tit chick that will be given the name Absinthe. He might have fallen from an overcrowded nest high up in the tree’s crown, or perhaps he tried his wings too early. The little bundle of down with gaping beak and demanding chipper comes to occupy the Rådström family home, sharing their everyday life for a summer. Initially, life is mostly about satisfying an insatiable appetite, but soon Absinthe begins to embark on ever longer excursions. In the garden, other birds entice and the world expands every day.
