Niklas Rådström (b. 1953) is one of Sweden’s most celebrated and versatile authors. Ever since his debut in 1975 he has become a name as a most prolific novelist, poet and playwright.
He has published a variety of novels,poetry collections and essays as well as written some twenty plays that has been staged around the world and screenplays for awardwinning and Golden Globe-nominated films. He was awarded the August Prize in 1994 for the novel While Time Thinks of Something Else and, among many other awards, he was in 2019 given the prestigious Övralidspriset for “his ability to travel in all directions of literature”. Niklas Rådström is a lifetime member of the literary academy Samfundet De Nio (The Nine Society).
